Søren Henriksen assists our clients with dispute resolution within all business matters and is broadly recognized and sought-after for his diligence and ability to win results.

Søren specialises in international arbitration and his experience ranges across post M&A and shareholder arbitration over IT separation disputes through international insurance and construction arbitration. Søren's experience spans over DIA, FAI, SCC, and ICC rules, and he regularly receives arbitrator appointments. In 2019, he worked as a foreign associate at Mannheimer Swartling in Stockholm engaging exclusively in Swedish and International arbitration. In addition, Søren has extensive experience with complex commercial litigation, particularly in respect of securities litigation, professional negligence and management liability, and commercial contracts. From previous work and building on his international academic background with an LL.M. degree in competition law from King's College London, Søren also has experience with private enforcement actions regarding competition law, namely damages claims.

Significant cases
Søren has particular experience with the complex and long-lasting high-profile cases that are characteristic of Gorrissen Federspiel's dispute resolution team. He has been deeply involved in the legal consequences of the 2008 financial crisis in relation to Danish bank failures, and most recently the contentious issue of claims for refund of dividend tax. He was also part of the defense team that represented a major Danish industrial client in one of the first-ever securities litigations brought in the Danish jurisdiction, and he is currently representing a party to one of the most significant litigations brought in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
