Gorrissen Federspiel assisted the Grundfos Foundation (Poul Due Jensens Fond) in 2023 on its first direct investment. The Grundfos Foundation acquired 24.9% of the shares in Aarhus Geo Instruments ApS, a spinout from Aarhus University HydroGeophysics Group, by a cash contribution to the company.
Aarhus Geo Instruments ApS produces geophysical instruments to map out the subsurface. They have developed a unique way of locating subsurface water basins, which has secured water access to people in developing countries.
