Hanne Jespersen Hansen advises Danish and international clients on all aspects of environmental and planning law.
With a particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects, she advises on environmental and planning law in connection with project development, including legal issues concerning environmental assessments, both strategic environmental assessments and environmental impact assessments (EIA), as well as nature protection rules (including habitat rules, Natura 2000, etc.).
She advises on a broad range of regulatory matters, including environmental approval requirements, water discharge permits, extended producer responsibility obligations for batteries, electrical and electronic equipment, and packaging, as well as environmental liability.
Hanne conducts environmental legal due diligence in connection with M&A transactions involving large industrial companies covered by the IE Directive and the Danish Environmental Protection Act, as well as companies within the energy sector, such as large solar and wind power projects, biogas projects and CCS projects. Hanne also has experience advising on raw material extraction projects in Denmark and Greenland.
Qualified to practice as an attorney in both Denmark and Germany, Hanne is a member of our German Desk, where she advises on Danish-German legal matters to both Danish and German-speaking clients. Hanne has extensive experience with cross-border financing matters and M&A transactions, with particular focus on Danish-German matters.
