The Danish industrial conglomerate Schouw & Co. has entered into a 10-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) for German developer Encavis’ solar park Fundici in Andalusia, Spain.
The PPA will contribute significantly towards Schouw & Co.’s 2030 target of 100% renewable electricity.
The PPA is expected to commence in the first half of 2025.
From then on, it will provide approximately 88 GWh of electricity per year, covering approximately 40% of Schouw & Co.’s European electricity consumption.
Gorrissen Federspiel’s energy team has in collaboration with Schneider Electric assisted Schouw & Co. throughout the sourcing process and in the drafting and negotiation of the PPA.
