We are very pleased to have advised QuantumCell in connection with its agreement with AlzeCure Pharma AB concerning the global rights to AlzeCure’s drug development platform, NeuroRestore.
The agreement has a total deal value exceeding USD 2.2 billion, excluding royalty payments, and includes an upfront payment of USD 12 million, part of which will be made as a direct investment in AlzeCure Pharma.
The project is focused on developing potential treatments for diseases affecting the central nervous system, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and depression.
The Gorrissen Federspiel team was led by Martin Dræbye Gantzhorn and Signe Alfastsen with direct investment support from Niels Bang and Caroline Philip.
