Gorrissen Federspiel have advised Ikano Bolig in connection with a strategic asset swap strengthening Ikano Bolig’s residential portfolio in Denmark.
As part of the transaction, Ikano Bolig has agreed to acquire Bakkekæret, a residential rental property in Herlev comprising 445 newly built and fully let rental homes, from a consortium consisting of Catella, Nordkranen and an international investor, while simultaneously divesting Kvædehaven, a development site spanning 31,423 sqm in Valby, to the same consortium.
The Herlev properties are located in the Marielund area and include modern rental homes with shared facilities, including a 425 sqm common house and shared rooftop terraces.
The two transactions are interdependent, and subject to customary pre-closing covenants and closing deliverables.
