Senior Finance Counsel
Peter Sand's primary focus is on advising clients on issues relating to the shipping and aviation industries, but his experience also includes advising on insolvency, restructuring and real property matters. Peter's main area of specialisation is mostly industry-oriented, and he therefore acts within many different legal areas. Peter's experience within the shipping and aviation industries includes, among other things, issues relating to damages, insurance law and private international law, but he also assists in matters concerning corporate law as well as financial and regulatory issues. Thus, Peter assists with and advises on the purchase, sale and leasing of aircraft. Furthermore, Peter acts in aircraft and ship financing matters and in traditional financing transactions, where he advises on and drafts loan agreements and security documents. Finally, Peter advises on and renders assistance in connection with legal and arbitration proceedings relating to the aviation industry.
