Confidence and flexibility are key words for Sigrid’s work at the office in Aarhus, where she supports the firm’s partners and lawyers.
My finest task is to support the partners and the lawyers in the best possible way. It’s a varied and interesting job, covering a wide range of tasks within effective coordination and administrative juggling. It gives me insight into the business and our clients’ issues and requires exactitude, drive and the ability to form a general view of things.
In my department we have a strong team spirit, high professional standards and high commitment. We help each other and even have fun while doing it. Even when we are really busy. We laugh, learn from our mistakes and celebrate our victories together. It creates a really strong team spirit. We have many social events with a high turnout, for instance summer parties, Christmas parties, bingo nights, wine tastings and various other events. You can also join morning yoga, soccer and a cycling team.
I’m met with trust and flexibility, which means that I’m able to keep a healthy work-life balance. I personally value this.
I’m proud to be working for one of the best law firms in the country, and it motivates me to do my best every day together with my colleagues. That the firm has developed into being a modern law firm just makes it even more attractive to work here.
In my department, we are good at giving each other room to concentrate on a task, and I really appreciate this. At the same time, there’s always room for a good laugh, both when we’re in the middle of an important annual report or during the daily lunch.
It was not on the cards that Chastine should be a litigator. But curiosity about the lawyer profession led her to apply for a position in the Dispute Resolution group when she began as assistant attorney with Gorrissen Federspiel. She has not regretted this decision.
