Helena Fogh Kronborg

Assistant, Business Development

I started working as an assistant in Business Development at Gorrissen Federspiel in the summer of 2025. Starting my first full-time job after three years in the familiar surroundings of high school was naturally a little overwhelming. Not only was it a workplace full of new faces, but I also had to deal with completely different tasks than I was used to in high school. However, I quickly settled into this new routine as I was made to feel welcome and part of the team from day one. Right from the beginning, I experienced the strong sense of community that forms part of the firm’s DNA, both within my own department and throughout the organisation.

As an assistant in Business Development, my work varies greatly. My regular tasks include reporting transactions to MergerMarket and sector classification of new clients. I also help colleagues in the department with ad hoc tasks such as slides for pitches and various research tasks. No two days are the same, which makes my work interesting.

It’s an environment where you can ask questions and get the help you need if you have any doubts or uncertainties about tasks. You collaborate with people from different disciplines, levels of seniority and functions, and you can see that everyone’s contribution is valued. At Gorrissen Federspiel, there are ample opportunities for learning and professional development.

Alongside a strong professional environment, the firm offers a wide range of social activities, including padel, yoga and a Friday bar. These activities give you the chance to get to know colleagues outside the office, strengthening the social community — something I really appreciate.

Gorrissen Federspiel is a workplace that provides valuable experience in relation to my future studies and career, and I feel fortunate that my first workplace has been able to contribute to this.
