As per 1 April 2020, Niels Bang becomes new chairman of the board of directors in Gorrissen Federspiel. Niels Bang has been with Gorrissen Federspiel since 1995. He takes over the chairmanship after Peter Appel.
As per 1 April 2020, Niels Bang, partner in Gorrissen Federspiel, takes over as chairman of the board of directors in Gorrissen Federspiel. He succeeds Peter Appel, who has served on the board of directors since 2003 and has served as chairman of the board since 2015.

Niels Bang joined Gorrissen Federspiel in 1995 as an assistant attorney and made partner in 2006. He is head of the firm’s Corporate/M&A practice group assisting Danish and foreign undertakings in relation to corporate law, securities law and M&A transactions.
With more than 20 directorships, Niels has extensive experience as a director and an active discussion partner in issues relating to organisation and business. He has twice been a member of the board of directors in Gorrissen Federspiel.

Peter Appel continues as head of the firm’s Shipping/Offshore/Transportation practice group and joins the firm’s Ethical Committee.
