For the third year running, Gorrissen Federspiel tops Kantar Sifo Prospera’s market analysis of the Danish legal sector, in which 203 companies have assessed the 10 largest law firms in Denmark.
In the latest analysis of the largest Danish law firms, Gorrissen Federspiel has maintained its position as the leading law firm in Denmark. The “Prospera Tier 1 Law Firm Review 2022 Denmark” market analysis was carried out by research agency Kantar Sifo Prospera, with 203 companies assessing the law firms based on a range of criteria.
This is the third consecutive year that Gorrissen Federspiel has been named the best law firm in the assessment of overall performance.
“I was proud when we were named the best firm for the first time because Danish companies, including several of our clients, rated us. But I am even more proud this year because we have managed to maintain this position once again, which shows that our strategic focus in recent years has paid off. Every day we are in fierce competition with the other law firms, so a top ranking should never be taken for granted, although of course we always strive to be the best,” says Managing Partner Martin André Dittmer.
The respondents in the analysis have assessed performance and legal skills in a number of areas, and Gorrissen Federspiel ranks among the top in M&A, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets & IPO, Litigation, EU and Competition Law, IT, Shipping & Transport, Business & Corporate Law and IT. Combined in all legal areas, Gorrissen Federspiel is also considered to have the best legal skills.
Companies also rated law firms’ “specialist skills” and “legal advice”, as well as their “willingness to recommend”. Here too, Gorrissen Federspiel is at the top. In addition to being the most highly recommended firm, the distance to competitors has also increased.

The Prospera Tier 1 Law Firm Review 2022 Denmark is a market analysis based on in-depth interviews with the largest Danish companies. In this year’s analysis, 203 Danish companies have evaluated the 10 largest Danish law firms. All respondents had a minimum legal spend of DKK 1.5 million over the past year with a segment having a legal spend of over DKK 6 million.
