NREP has successfully acquired the residential property Hørkær Have from Skanska.
The development at Hørkær Have in Herlev will house 264 mainly smaller rental units spread over a total of 22,720 m².
Herlev is a growing municipality, and the area’s popularity with everyone from young people to families and senior citizens has long been of interest to both Skanska A/S and NREP. The latter has several rental units in Herlev and has closely followed the development of Hørkær Have, which has now led to a forward purchase agreement whereby NREP will buy the property when it is completed next summer.
The 264 units at Hørkær Have will have two to five rooms, ranging in size from 58 to 137 m². According to Skanska A/S, there is a high local demand for smaller units, which is why the units have an average size of 85 m². Hørkær Have is close to the S-train, light rail and the centre of Herlev – and is only 13 km from Copenhagen City Hall Square.
We are grateful for the trust NREP has shown us and for the co-operation with all other parties and advisors involved.
The transaction was handled by Gorrissen Federspiel’s M&A Real Estate team and other specialists within the firm.
Congratulations to all parties involved in this transaction.
