About the event
Three weeks after the U.S. presidential election, Think Tank EUROPA, in collaboration with Gorrissen Federspiel and DIIS, invites you to a conversation on the implications of Donald Trump’s election victory for transatlantic relations, European defence, and its quest for strategic autonomy.
With Trump’s win in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Europe now faces pressing questions about its future in defence and security. How Trump’s victory will reshape transatlantic relations, and what steps are needed to ensure a stronger, more autonomous European defence? Three leading experts will share their perspectives on the evolving geopolitical landscape, EU policy, and the shifting dynamics of the U.S.-Europe alliance.
