Kathrine Spinner Madsen advises on all aspects of trademarks and other distinctive business signs. Kathrine advises our clients on a range of issues related to the enforcement of and application for trademarks as well as in connection with other trademark law and distinctive sign matters.
Furthermore, Kathrine provides assistance on the IP law aspects of due diligence investigations in connection with M&A transactions.
A large part of Kathrine's work consists in assisting clients filing new trademark applications and handling disputes concerning trademarks and other distinctive signs. Kathrine therefore often assists clients conducting cases pending in the Danish Patent and Trademark Office and the EUIPO (The European Union Intellectual Property Office).
Bringing almost 10 years' experience from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, Kathrine has valuable first-hand expertise with trademark application procedures and the enforcement of rights through the administrative trademark system.
