Gorrissen Federspiel has acted as legal advisor to Everdan Group in connection with its acquisition of a majority stake in Aage Østergaard Møbelindustri A/S.
The owner family, Henrik and Torben Østergaard, are reinvesting as co-owners and will continue in their management roles.
Founded in 1964 as a carpentry business, Aage Østergaard Møbelindustri is today a mission-critical, end-to-end sourcing and production partner to leading furniture design houses, covering the full process from material sourcing and product development to assembly and logistics.
The investment reflects Everdan Group’s long-term ownership model.
Aage Østergaard Møbelindustri retains its independence and identity, decisions are made close to the business, and Everdan Group contributes as a committed long-term partner in the company’s continued development.
