Thor offshore wind farm delivers first power to the grid.
Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm is now generating and feeding power into the grid for the first time with Danske Commodities selected to provide the route-to-market services for the offshore wind farm.
With a planned capacity one of 1.1. gigawatt, Thor is expected to supply renewable electricity to the equivalent of approximately one million Danish households once fully operational in 2027.
Thor offshore wind farm is a joint project between RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management.
Gorrissen Federspiel’s PPA and offtake team has advised on the route-to-market agreement RWE entered into with Danske Commodities.
