Highly specialised legal advice in life science is an increasingly important business area. Gorrissen Federspiel’s new partner Martin Dræbye Gantzhorn will contribute to this.

The new partner will be an important asset in the strategic expansion of the Life Sciences team.

Denmark is a major player in the life science field. Today, pharmaceutical exports alone account for 17%. (DKK 158 billion) of total Danish exports – a doubling in 10 years. Demand for Danish goods and services is increasing. So is the complexity of regulation and competition in the life science field and, thus, the need for highly specialised legal assistance.
Niels Bang, partner and chairman of the board, who, among other things, focuses on life science transactions, explains:

The expansion of the Life Sciences team follows a number of strategic initiatives. These include recruitment and appointment of new partners with unique specialist competencies that enable Gorrissen Federspiel to match clients’ needs for highly specialised advice. Martin Dræbye Gantzhorn joins Gorrissen Federspiel from his position as partner at the law firm Bech-Bruun and will join the firm on 1 January 2025 at the latest.
Martin Dræbye Gantzhorn graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2003. He has been a partner at Bech-Bruun for seven years, the last four of which he has been a member of the firm’s board of directors.
