PRESS RELEASE
In another year of turmoil and uncertainty, Gorrissen Federspiel achieved growth in both revenue and headcount. A strategic focus on clients and sectors contributed to the results.
Revenue amounted to DKK 1.158 billion, an increase of 10%. The results exceeded expectations. This is reported in Gorrissen Federspiel’s annual report for 2024, which has just been published.
“These results are slightly above our expectations for the year and have been achieved through several strategic initiatives, including investments in talent and new business areas. Last but not least, this year’s results reflect the dedicated efforts of our talented people during another unpredictable year,” says Managing Partner Martin André Dittmer.
It was a year of significant change. One of the key trends in 2024 was the increased global focus on critical infrastructure, including the energy, defence, security and pharmaceutical industries. These sectors have been prioritised as vital to national security and economic stability, creating new opportunities and complex issues for companies and organisations around the world.
“Fortunately, we have a long tradition of standing strong in turbulent times. For more than 150 years, we have advised Denmark’s leading companies through decades of ups and downs, wars and crises in society and the world around us. Global trends have had a positive impact on our business, and we have seen a significant increase in demand for our advice in strategically important sectors such as energy, defence, security, shipping and life sciences – sectors where we have added significant capacity in recent years to meet our clients’ expectations,” says Martin André Dittmer.
In 2024, Gorrissen Federspiel also took important strategic steps in the area of technology by partnering with Legora – an AI-powered legal platform that supports the firm’s focus on innovation, efficiency and delivering superior quality in an increasingly complex legal landscape.
“Legora is a tool that strengthens our ability to deliver better advice while maintaining our data security and compliance requirements. We’re now better equipped than ever before to help our clients with complex legal issues,” says Martin André Dittmer.
With a continued focus on strategic initiatives, innovation and investment in talent, Gorrissen Federspiel expects to continue its positive development in 2025, standing on a strong foundation of relevant expertise, and is well equipped to help clients navigate future challenges and opportunities in unpredictable times.
