Gorrissen Federspiel assists Villerup Sol with PPA agreement with Reel.
Through the PPA agreement with Reel, power purchase agreements have been concluded with 18 Danish companies for the offtake of electricity from Villerup Sol’s upcoming solar park, which is expected to produce approximately 12,400 MWh of electricity annually once the park is operational by the end of 2025.
The solar park is being developed by Momentum Energy Group A/S and Villerup Hovedgaard, and we have assisted the project with the negotiation and conclusion of the PPA agreement with Reel. The PPA and the 18 Danish companies involved contribute to enabling the construction of the solar park in Hjørring Municipality, which will supply green electricity to, among others, companies in the local area.
The agreement model – as a multi-party PPA – helps ensure that several companies can access PPAs and thereby contribute directly to the green transition. Among the companies included in the PPA are: Skallerup Seaside Resort A/S, Vraa Dampvaskeri A/S, Thisted-Fjerritslev Cementvarefabrik A/S, Expo-net Danmark A/S, Aasted A/S, and Nic Christiansen Gruppen A/S.
