Lea Kolmos Weis advises our clients on litigation, shipping and offshore matters. Lea has extensive experience with litigation and arbitration, including in particular within maritime and transport law, offshore insurance and tort law.
Lea has especially managed large and complex cases, and she has experience with case management and efficient case organisation. Lea's experience covers transportation of goods, coverage under insurance contracts, P&I and regulatory issues.
Lea has worked several years with the UN agency, International Seabed Authority, and was responsible for regulatory matters and lead on the multilateral negotiations of the regulations on exploitation of mineral resources. Furthermore, Lea has experience with drafting and negotiation of contracts.
Lea became a certified mediator in 2017 and has previously worked as a part-time lecturer in civil litigation at the University of Copenhagen.
