Cecilie is Senior Legal Counsel in Gorrissen Federspiel's EU and Competition Law practice group.

Cecilie has been practicing competition law in Brussels, London and Copenhagen for more than 15 years. Cecilie also advises on foreign direct investments (FDI) and foreign subsidies regulation (FSR).

Cecilie has broad experience within all aspects of EU and Danish competition law, FDI and FSR, as well as representing clients in the administrative process before the EU Commission, national competition authorities, and national FDI authorities.

Cecilie's practice covers a broad range of competition law issues, including merger control, competition investigations, distribution agreements, exchange of information between competitors, abuse of dominance, joint ventures, dawn raids and competition compliance.

Cecilie advises global companies in various sectors including banking, biosolutions, energy, insurances, industrial equipment, IT, life sciences, media, manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and retail trade.

Cecilie has experience both from the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority and the European Commission (DG COMP), where she was seconded as national expert.
