Managing Counsel
Caroline Boysen is Managing Counsel in Gorrissen Federspiel's Corporate/M&A practice and a member of the firm's Life Sciences team. She advises Danish and international companies, private equity and venture capital funds, investors and family offices on M&A and venture capital transactions, with a particular focus on life sciences.
Caroline guides clients through every stage of a transaction, from structuring and due diligence to negotiation and closing. Her experience spans transactions of significant strategic importance, including acquisitions, venture financings and public takeover bids in Denmark. She also advises companies on complex corporate matters, including restructurings and national and cross-border mergers and demergers, as well as day-to-day legal and strategic issues.
Recognised for her commercial approach, clear communication and problem-solving skills, Caroline combines legal expertise with a strong understanding of clients' business needs. She is adept at identifying practical solutions in complex domestic and cross-border matters. Her international perspective is supported by an LL.M. from UC Berkeley School of Law.
As part of Gorrissen Federspiel's Life Sciences team, Caroline is passionate about helping investors and innovative Danish life sciences companies bring new ideas and technologies to market.
