Sustainability Overview 2025

We are pleased to present the Corporate Sustainability Overview 2025. The overview is our annual benchmark report on key trends related to sustainability governance and reporting of Danish OMXC25 companies.

The overview can serve as a benchmarking tool and as inspiration for best practices. In addition, the overview provides an introduction to the legal landscape of sustainability reporting and corporate governance, including a status on the EU Omnibus packages.

A few trends to highlight:

• This year’s overview follows the first year of mandatory sustainability reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (‘CSRD’), which now generally applies to the OMXC25 companies. Not surprisingly, the CSRD requirements materially affect the sustainability reporting.
• The overview shows a slight decline in sustainability-related proposals tabled at the annual general meetings and in the presentation of the board of directors, and
• Overall, the Danish OMXC25 companies report a reduction in engagement with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
