Gorrissen Federspiel has advised Enka Energy Transition Ltd and White Summit Capital on the acquisition of a 50 MW / 150 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Denmark from BattMan Energy.
The project is ready-to-build, with all permits and grid connection in place.
Upon achieving commercial operation, which is expected in Q1 2028, the project will become one of the largest battery storage facilities in Denmark, helping stabilise the Danish power grid.
The core team consisted of Søren Nielsen, Magnus Søndergaard-Pedersen, Christopher Halling and partner Christian Halskov Sauer.
