Morten Berggreen joined Gorrissen Federspiel in 2010 as a law student and has since been an assistant attorney, attorney and most recently managing counsel, where he has completed special leadership training targeted at managers at Gorrissen Federspiel.
He is part of the Shipping/Offshore/Transportation practice group, where he advises, among others, The Blue Denmark as well as international maritime companies and financial institutions.

The appointment of Morten Berggreen comes in the wake of a period of high demand for legal services in the field of shipping and transportation, which includes a strong focus on transactions and the green transition.

Morten Berggreen holds a Business Administration and Commercial Law degree from Copenhagen Business School (2006), a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen (2011) and a Master of Business Administration and Auditing degree from Copenhagen Business School (2012). He previously worked at PwC and was seconded to the law firm Watson Farley & Williams in London.
He is based at our offices in Axel Towers in Copenhagen. As part of the Shipping/Offshore/Transportation practice group, he advises on maritime transactions, shipbuilding, the purchase and sale of vessels and financing matters. He has particular experience in complex international restructurings and M&A transactions and has been involved in the majority of shipping-related M&A transactions in Denmark in recent years.
Morten Berggreen lives in Copenhagen with his wife Nina and daughters Madeleine and Josephine.
