Managing Counsel
Lars Segato has many years of experience with various IP law disciplines. His primary focus is on advice and assistance to Danish and international clients in connection with the establishment and maintenance of trademark and design rights in Denmark, the EU and countries outside the EU. In the field of trademark law, Lars' work consists in prior examinations of whether a specific trademark is available for the requested use and in preparing and filing trademark applications and handling the subsequent regulatory processing of the application.
Lars has also assisted clients in many injunction and search proceedings before the Danish courts in connection with enforcement of trademark and design rights and copyrights.
Through participation in international conferences in the trademark and design field and being a former member of the ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association) Harmonisation Committee, Lars has built a large international network of leading experts outside Denmark. This way, it is always possible to provide the exact skills required by our clients, also when it comes to the establishment or enforcement of a right outside Denmark.
