Senior Food and Life Sciences Counsel
Gundula Maria Kjær is primarily working in the field of life sciences and is highly specialised within Danish and EU food legislation.
Gundula advises food companies on all aspects of food legislation, e.g. in relation to product classification, product labelling and nutrition & health claims, marketing of fortified foods, food supplements and food for specific groups.
Gundula also advises food companies specifically with regard to inspections by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, in cases of control sanctions or food recalls.
Gundula has +18 years food regulatory experience. She has worked ten years at the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. In addition, for two years, she has been a Seconded National Expert in the EU Commission, DG Sante.
In addition, Gundula advises within other regulatory areas of Life Sciences.
Gundula is Denmark's country correspondent for the European Food and Feed Law Review (EFFL Lexxion).
