Gorrissen Federspiel is pleased to invite you to our upcoming GDPR Breakfast Club event.
The GDPR Breakfast Club is intended as a forum for our clients to share amongst each other their knowledge and experiences with the GDPR in full confidence. At each session, Gorrissen Federspiel will provide insights on chosen topics and facilitate an open the discussion.
In the next session, we will concentrate on the security risks associated with the use of generative AI and how to mitigate these risks. Our objective is to showcase how easily generative AI can be misused with minimal technical knowledge, including how improper implementation can lead to significant privacy breaches. We will also consider whether we have reached a point where it is necessary to prohibit the use of company devices for personal purposes if the company employs generative AI.
Furthermore, we will discuss the EDPS case against the EU Commission’s use of Microsoft 365. Based on these discussions, we aim to provide participants with an understanding of the anticipated impact of the CJEU’s ruling on the level of transparency and documentation required when using cloud providers, as well as whether transfers to third countries will become a concern in the future.
In addition, we will also provide cybersecurity updates from the recent Defcon 32 convention
