Pia Mondrup Pedersen focuses on outsourcing and IT. She advises Danish and foreign companies on a broad range of IT and outsourcing agreements, including national and international outsourcing projects within IT and business processes and IT integration and development projects. Pia is also very experienced within software licence and service contracts.

Project advice covers strategic commercial advice, delivery of the main agreement and a number of key schedules and conducting workshops, among other things, to ensure that the client's business targets are integrated into the agreement. Pia can provide project management in the tendering and negotiation process and ensures subsequent understanding and implementation of the contract in the clients' organisation in the form of a contract management concept developed by our Outsourcing and IT Team. This helps prevent the value leakage otherwise often experienced in relation to the client's original business case.

Pia primarily represents the customer-side of the transactions, but has previously worked several years for the supplier-side and therefore has extensive knowledge about both parties' legal and business requirements.

Significant cases
Within outsourcing and IT, Pia advises several of the large listed companies in the C20 index in Denmark. She advises a number of large companies in Norway and companies within a number of different industries, including the financial sector, the IT and telecom industries as well as manufacturing and industrial companies.

Pia has been an advisor on large global outsourcing projects where the clients have outsourced very large portions of their internal IT and/or business processes to large global suppliers, which in a short period of time were required to move, optimise and deliver business-critical services to the clients from various jurisdictions. In this connection, she has advised in the project and establishment phase as well as subsequently when disputes arose or the contract required extension or amendment.
